TERA Focus Test Group Info Released

TERAEn Masse Entertainment has released a handy fact sheet about the fast-approaching second focus test group session for its fantasy MMO, TERA.

It's highly likely that you've seen one or two things about this game in the last few weeks. There have been videos and screens galore, and the hype is building nicely, thanks to the team who are bringing the game to the west, En Masse, which is home to some ex Blizzard, ArenaNet and NCsoft employees.

The FGT2 starts on Friday 16 April and runs until Monday 19 April, possibly until Tuesday. The server will be up during the following times:

  • Friday: 12pm–10pm PDT (7pm–5am GMT)
  • Saturday: 7am–10pm PDT (2pm–5am GMT)
  • Sunday: 7am–10pm PDT (2pm–5am GMT)
  • Monday: 12pm–10pm PDT (7pm–5am GMT)
  • Tuesday: TDB based on player progress

If you're one of the multitudes that applied to take part in the test, you should know that the invites will be sent out on Monday 12 April so be sure to check your mail, spam boxes too, just in case.

The test gives access to roughly levels 1-25, the new player section is from around 1-11 and players will be asked to give feedback on it. They'll also be quizzed on the UI, NPC names, items and locations and the general feel of the game.

If you were lucky enough to be a part of the first FGT, you'll notice many changes to this client including  improvements to movement, speed, controllability, and combat damage, plus many more updates. Read more about FGT2 at the official site.
