Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIP Map Pack 2 Launches On PC

EA and DICE have announced the PC launch of VIP Map Pack 2 for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

A post on the official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Twitter feed reads: "VIP Map Pack 2 is out on PC NOW! Just join a server running the maps. Console map pack due soon."

Battlefield: Bad Company 2Going by the Bad Company 2 blog, the pack adds in Conquest mode for Arica Harbor and Rush mode for Laguna Presa, the latter of which specifically mentions "all-new areas of the maps." Nice. The blog also mentions that the content should come in the form of a game update.

The map pack is entirely free for those signed up with the VIP code, which was free with new copies of the game. Those who have used copies, however, need to first purchase a VIP code.

We adore Battlefield: Bad Company 2, with our review calling the single-player mode "stunning" and "a joyous experience." Check it out.
