Over the weekend, savvy fans of the upcoming MMORPG from BioWare, Star Wars: The Old Republic uncovered a webpage that looks suspiciously like the beginnings of a beta test portal.
Since the mysterious countdown appeared on BioWare's main page last week, gamers have been speculating about the “Epic BioWare Community Event” that it heralds. At the time of writing, we only have an hour until the big reveal, but could gamers have sussed it already?
After fans questioned BioWare about the new SW:TOR page that was discovered (see right), community reps responded, confirming that it is a game testing portal (via darthater):
“You have indeed found the login portal for Game Testing. That said, this is not a new page and we are not ready to make any additional announcements about our Game Testing Program. When we are ready, we will make sure The Old Republic Community is the first to know”
