Aliens Vs Predator Steam Update

Steam has released an update for Sega's Aliens vs. Predator.

The patch offers a number of bug fixes and also adds new dedicated server features. Dedicated servers no longer require the Steam client to be running and they'll also support DLC maps.

Aliens vs PredatorThe update also  sees the install size shrink from 15GB to approximately 2.2GB, making it a lot more HDD friendly.

Other fixes include DX11 optimisation using tessellation, preventing Predators being able to cancel other players' Plasma Caster lock-on, and a lobby timer fix.

In addition, the Predator's Smart Disc has been reduced and the Plasma Caster bolts will no longer knock down enemies.
