Square Enix director Tetsuya Nomura, interviewed via Twitter, revealed a few bits and pieces about upcoming titles.
According to the Andriasang translation, Nomura spoke a little about the possibility of a sequel to Dissidia: Final Fantasy, and what we can expect from Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
When questioned on the status of Versus, Nomura responded "Not everything is connected together, so the various areas have different levels of progress. However, you can fly across the world map in an air ship."
And Dissidia 2? "A Dissidia Final Fantasy sequel -- we'll work at it!" Don't take that as confirmation, mind; this could simply mean that it's something that Nomura would like to do at some point in the future.
We're particularly happy to hear that Versus XIII is going to have an airship and a world map, as the linearity of Final Fantasy XIII left us feeling a bit cold.
