Gears Of War 3 Due April 2011?

Epic games will apparently release the third game in the Gears of War series in April next year.

According to Edge's “trusted US publishing source”, Microsoft will release a trailer for the game on 8 April, one year before the release date, with a reveal scheduled for this year's E3 event.

Apparently, the game may even be completed before the end of the year, but Microsoft will hold back the title to avoid a clash with Halo: Reach this holiday season.

Gears of War 3 will continue the story of Marcus Fenix as humanity battles against the Locust horde. The feeling we got form the storyline in Gears of War 2 is that an almighty twist is incoming, so we may see the story turned on its head in the third instalment of the action title.
