Splash Damage has said it's looking to overcome the issues with platform porting and lead platforms when creating its games.
Speaking to IncGamers in an exclusive interview, CEO of Splash Damage, Paul Wedgwood, said that the developer had "set out from the very beginning wanting to design the game that worked well for all three platforms."
Coming from a very PC focused background, Wedgwood is aware of the issues surrounding ports from consoles to PC and vice-versa.
"We have developed a kind of internal approach which I believe is entirely platform agnostic. When we're trying to solve a console design issue with someone like Richard Ham, because he's the co-creator of Syphon Filter, that's the best-selling shooter on the original PlayStation."
Wedgwood went on to say that there was no one platform which was "superior or inferior, irrespective [of platform]."
Brink is one of our most anticipated titles, and we're hoping to hear more about it very soon. We'll be posting our full interview in the next week, so make sure you keep your eyes open.
