Sony's Jack Tretton has said the PlayStation Move will be applicable in all areas if gaming.
In a post-conference interview on the live video feed, Tretton emphasised that realism and precision will set Sony's newly-named motion controller apart from rival systems.
Using SOCOM 4 as an example, he stressed that all types of games can be adpated for motion controls.
"There isn't a game that won't apply to this motion gaming," he said.
As revealed in the press conference, the PlayStation Move will allow gamers to control camera and crosshairs with the Move, while movement is handled by the analogue stick on the sub controller.
"I hope the real hardcore shooter fan will say 'this is what I wanted from a shooter,'" added Tretton.
When asked if Sony will be targeting the casual market with Move, he replied "we always say we want any customer with electricity."
