With GDC taking place this week, the rumour mill has already started grinding as a source claims a sequel to LittleBigPlanet is in production.
According to VG247's source, the game is due for release before the end of the year although there's no word on whether it will be a retail release or a download-only title. 
If true, the rumour would contradict developer Media Molecule's earlier assertion that it would “never want to do” a sequel as it would be “counter-productive.”
The news follows Sony's “strategic” move last week to purchase the developer.
