Ubisoft has said that PC gamers who download illegal versions of its games will find them to be incomplete.
In response to this morning's rumour that Ubi's new DRM system has already been broken, the publisher tweeted to assure gamers that any cracked versions of Assassin's Creed II and Silent Hunter 5 they may find on the net will not be complete.
“Rumor control: any gamer who downloads and plays a cracked version of #AC2 and #SH5 will find that their version is not complete.”
Ubi's DRM measures have caused controversy since they were announced, as games using the DRM will require an always on internet connection to play.
