Alganon Switches To Free To Play

AlganonQuest Online has announced that its MMO, Alganon, has gone free to play.

The game will now be funded by micro transactions rather than a monthly fee, but will retain the initial purchase price to help prevent the game from being inundated by players with no real investment.

The announcement also revealed that the game's much-anticipated patch has been delayed until the week of 11 March. The update includes The Dawning world bosses as well as a few fixes. Developers are also working hard on the next patch which is due to go live during the week of 8 April. It will include several new features such as a new starter experience and new starter areas, and the Tribute Market System, which will be the basis for the micro transaction system.

Find out more in the official announcement.
