EA has reportedly disbanded the Boom Blox team.
Blue's News spotted a change made to the LinkedIn profile of Jeff Dixon, previously senior software engineer at EALA - the change being that his position as "senior software engineer" is now in the "Past" section.
According to Blue's, the profile contains the line "Jeff Dixon Has [sic] joined the ranks of the EALA departed. The Boom Blox team was laid off today."
Blue's then tracked down Dixon, who apparently told them that the team was working on a Natal launch title - information corroborated by the LinkedIn profile, which lists him as the lead programmer on an unannounced Natal title.
We've contacted EA for comment, in between Tamer's sobs of dismay.
