Aion's EOC Reveals Secret Link

NCsoft found an amusing way to announce details for upcoming Aion content on Friday.

Sharp-eyed fans may have noticed that Friday's Eye on Community article by Aion's Tamat contained a number of underlined letters, spelling out a message.

The message instructed fans to find a secret link, which turned out to be at the bottom of the article. The link leads to an image of an 'internal' letter from NCsoft headed “..Update v1.9 Meeting Agenda”. The meeting, slated to take place on Tuesday 3 March (no such date), is to be between Aion developers and the community team, in which they will discuss several upcoming features, and here are some of the topics apparently up for discussion:

• Daily Quests for level 50 and below
• New Abilities
• Stun Attack Defense System
• Two-Handed Weapon Transformation
• Dark Poeta Drop Rate Increase

There's also some reference to a larger update that's due to take place late 2010, which will follow update v1.9. Stay tuned for the official results of this 'meeting'.
