Nintendo has dated a whole slew of software and hardware for Europe.
Dates issued include those for Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid: Other M, Monster Hunter Tri, Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies, Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies, and a bunch of other titles.
The list of dates follows:
(DSiWare) PhotoDojo - Spring 2010- (Wii) Monster Hunter Tri - 23 April
- (DS) WarioWare: Do It Yourself - 30 April
- (Wii) Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies - 7 May
- (Wii) Super Mario Galaxy 2 - 11 June
- (DS) Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies - Summer 2010
- (Wii) Flingsmash - Summer 2010
- (Wii) Metroid: Other M - Q3 2010
You've probably heard of most of those, but a few have likely escaped notice.
PhotoDojo asks players to take 13 photos of themselves and add 10 sound effects, and then drops them into a side-scrolling brawler as the lead character, which sounds rather cool to us.
Monster Hunter Tri is the first Wii-based Monster Hunter game, and adds in scores of new marks, features, and more - as well as full online play.
WarioWare: Do It Yourself will work on any DS, but also "demonstrates the enhanced experience available with the Nintendo DSi XL," and allows users to create their own microgames. It'll be joined at launch by WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase on WiiWare, which has 70 new microgames of its own.
Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies is a Treasure-developed Wii shooter with two playable characters and online leaderboards.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the sequel to Super Mario Galaxy, still regarded by many as the finest Wii title available, and adds in plenty more features - including a return for Yoshi.
Dragon Quest IX is the latest in the Dragon Quest series and features cooperative wireless multiplayer for up to four players.
Flingsmash, which requires the MotionPlus accessory, combines "the precision of racket sports with the unpredictable fun of pinball" as you bounce a character through side-scrolling levels.
Finally, Metroid: Other M is the latest Metroid game, created by Nintendo in collaboration with Team Ninja. It uses a mix of 2D and 3D, and explores the events that took place just after Super Metroid. We admit to being a little confused by the tentative European date given that, according to Kotaku, it's been dated for an American launch on 27 June.
