Alan Wake Dated For Japan

Alan Wake's Japanese launch has been dated.

Alan Wake, a horror-shooter that sees the events of Wake's latest novel - which he can't remember writing - come true, is due for release in Japan on 27 May.

Alan WakeThat's according to Andriasang, which notes that the standard edition of the game will cost ¥7,140 JPY while the highly limited Limited Edition is a bit pricier at ¥8,190. That works out to about £50 GBP and £60 GBP, respectively.

This is a little after the western release, as Alan Wake is due out in the States on 18 May with a European release on 21 May. Developer Remedy is "betting the farm" on this one, so here's hoping it's impressive.
