Borderlands DLC Coming Today After All

Borderlands' latest DLC pack, the Secret Armory of General Knoxx, will indeed be coming today despite comments to the contrary.

The DLC pack was announced to hit Xbox LIVE today, but confusion arose when various Tweets indicated that it would be delayed until tomorrow.

Both Gearbox's Mikey Neumann and General Knoxx himself have since cleared up the matter. The former Tweeted "TO BE CLEAR: DLC is coming out today. It's not delayed," while the latter noted that "there are reports that the invasion is delayed until tomorrow. not true. don't believe the tweetergrams. i will rock all faces off today."

The Secret Armory of General Knoxx should hit Xbox LIVE today, with PlayStation Network and PC versions to follow on Thursday. It raises the level cap to 61, adds new vehicles, a new class of ultra-rare weapons, a storyline that picks up after the close of the original game, over 30 new enemy types, and more difficult enemies with smarter AI.
