Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has won the Writer’s Guild of America award for Videogame Writing.
The game was written by Naughty Dog’s Amy Hennig, whose previous writing credits include the Legacy of Kain and Jak and Daxter series. The action adventure sequel beat off competition from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Assassin’s Creed II, Wet and X-Men Origins: Wolverine to win the award.
Last year, Activision’s Star Wars: The Force Unleashed took the award amid some controversy as a number of publishers apparently snubbed the WGA.
We think it’s another deserved accolade for Uncharted 2 and you can find out what we made of it in our review.
