Metro 2033 DirectX 11 Screens

THQ has released a set of Metro 2033 screens showing off the newly-announced DirectX 11 features.

Survival horror-shooter Metro 2033 will support DirectX 11 features as well as NVidia 3D Vision support and PhysX.

This means, apparently, that gamers lucky enough to have DirectX 11 cards will get the visual joys of depth of field effects and full tessellation on character models. If you're not sure quite what that means, just look at the screenshots below and make "Ooh" noises.

Metro 2033 is due out on PC and Xbox 360 on 19 March.
