Modern Warfare 2 patch 1.09 has hit the PlayStation Network.
PS3-Sense spotted that the patch has gone online, although there's no word on what it does or if the same fix will be coming to the 360.
According to Robert "Fourzerotwo" Bowling, 360 users got their hands on a patch a few days back which fixed the infinite care package exploit, a few sprint speed bugs, sentry gun placement, XP hacks, and Model 1887 fixes. Our best guess is that this new patch is either the PlayStation 3 version of it, or is the mentioned "additional fix" for the PS3.
We've contacted Infinity Ward to see what's what, but considering the problems Modern Warfare 2's online play has suffered this patch will no doubt provide some sort of welcome fix.
