Star Trek Online: London World Record Event

Namco Bandai and Atari have announced that they will be holding an event in London on 14 February 2010, in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Star Trek characters.

The event, titled 'Report To The Bridge', will be held at the Millenium Bridge in London. Anyone wanting to take part should be there for mid-day until 14:00, and must be dressed as anyone or anything from Star Trek.

The best dressed attendees will win some exclusive Star Trek goodies, including lifetime subscriptions to STO, in-game items, copies of the recent Star Trek movie and tickets to May's MCM Expo.

“This should be an absolutely fantastic fun filled day and definitely one all fans of Star Trek should get involved in,” said Lee Kirton, Namco Bandai Partners’ head of UK PR. “This is the chance to become part of history with a ‘World Record’ for the largest group of dressed up Star Trek characters in one place. Namco Bandai will also have a bunch of fantastic prizes up for grabs on the day for the best dressed ‘Trekkers’ and some prizes for just taking part should make it a trip worthwhile!”
