Monster Hunter Tri Will Support Wii Speak

Capcom has announced that forthcoming Wii hunt-em-up Monster Hunter Tri will support Wii Speak.

The news that a game with hefty co-op focus will support online voice communication doesn't really take us by surprise, but it's nice to get confirmation and to learn that certain versions of the game will come bundled with the Wii Speak accessory.

Monster Hunter TriMonster Hunter Tri will go on sale in three different bundles. One will contain just the game, one will contain the game and a black Classic Controller Pro, and one will contain the game, a Classic Controller Pro, and the Wii Speak headset.

Monster Hunter Tri drops players into what's apparently a "living and breathing ecosystem," with monsters weakening as time goes by until they can find food - which might involve attacking other creatures, or you. Expect pack mentality, amongst other things.

Monster Hunter Tri is due out on European Wiis in April 2010. Solo players, don't worry: you'll be able to play alone or with an AI companion, or head into a split-screen Arena mode with a friend. Check out some screens of the Wii exclusive over here.
