Bungie has confirmed that Halo: Reach will not feature Natal support.
A first-person screenshot (eyes right) from the game showed the crosshair to the left of centre, leading many to speculate that the user was playing with Natal and aiming to the left, but Bungie has since stated that this is not true.
"Truth be told, it's just a good ole fashioned bug," wrote the team in the latest Bungie Weekly Update, before listing the details for bug #15163 - a bug which has the crosshairs display in an incorrect position when screenshots are taken.
If that sounds like Bungie is avoiding the question, then a later response in the same update will ruin all remaining hope. "Halo: Reach is NOT a Natal title and is being developed expressly with the traditional Xbox 360 controller in mind," reads Bungie's response to a Natal-based question.
Other information given in the update includes word that not every weapon will be hitscan, that the graphics still need improvement, that the HUD is now a different colour, that weapon capacities are still subject to change, and that players will indeed get to pilot the Falcon - the "Warthog of the Skies" - in the campaign and multiplayer.
We recently speculated a little about what we can expect from Halo: Reach's multiplayer. Check it out.
