Largest Borderlands DLC To Date Announced

Gearbox and 2K Games have announced The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, a new DLC pack for Borderlands.

The big thing about The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, it seems, is that it raises the level cap, giving "new challenges and opportunities for growth for characters from around 34 to level 50."

Entirely new weapons and items are mentioned, as well as "brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge environment complete with tons of brand new missions."

Sounds good to us. No word on release date yet, but we do know that it's coming for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, and we know that we've got screenshots below.

This will be the third DLC pack, following The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot. If you've bought neither and aren't quite sure why Borderlands is worth the fuss, you may want to read our review.

Check out the screens of The Secret Armory of General Knoxx below.
