DICE has revealed that a demo of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will indeed be coming to the PlayStation 3.
Today saw the release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2's Xbox 360 demo, as well as the launch of the PC beta, and we imagine a few PS3 owners were wondering where their love was.
Wonder no more: the PlayStation 3 demo will come to the PlayStation Network soon.
If you're a European PS3 owner, you'll be able to download the demo on 4 February, while if you're in the States you'll have to wait until 11 February.
Both demos and the PC beta take place in Port Valdez, a vehicle-focused map for 24 players on consoles and 32 on PC, and is based around the Rush multiplayer mode. The battle apparently takes place both along the waterline and a "great oil industrial landscape in the Alaskan mountains," with plenty of ground and air vehicles for use.
Sounds tasty. We'll be checking it out, and while you're waiting for it to download, you might want to have a look at our recent coverage. We've got a hands-on with Bad Company 2, as well as an interview with the developers that shows off some beautiful gameplay footage.
