THQ has announced that Metro 2033 will be coming to Xbox 360 and PC in mid-March.
Americans will be able to play the forthcoming horror-shooter-survival game on 16 March, while Europeans will have to wait three days until 19 March to get their paws on it.
A Limited Edition of the game has also been announced for both PC and Xbox 360 formats, containing an in-game automatic shotgun and four art cards by Russian painter Anton Grechko. We're told that some retailers will have pre-order bonuses based around exclusive Xbox LIVE Avatar gear, though no further details were given.
Metro 2033 is set in a post-apocalyptic future. Survivors of doomsday having gathered in Moscow's underground system, but with a new threat emerging and the fate of mankind at stake, protagonist Artyom is forced both deeper into the underground and onto the scorched surface of the planet.
You can have a look at a trailer of the game here, or check out some rather lovely-looking screenshots over here.
