Uncharted 2 has been nominated for a staggering 15 more awards in the 13th annual Interactive Achievement Awards.
Uncharted 2 - our game of 2009, lest you forget - has been nominated for the awards by "industry leaders and members of the interactive entertainment software creative community."
The nominations, issued by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, are listed below:
Outstanding Achievement in Animation- Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction
- Outstanding Achievement in Visual Engineering
- Outstanding Achievement in Game Play Engineering
- Outstanding Character Performance (two nominations: Chloe Frazier and Nathan Drake)
- Outstanding Achievement in Original Story
- Outstanding Innovation in Gaming
- Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition
- Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design
- Adventure Game of the Year
- Outstanding Achievement in Online Game Play
- Outstanding Achievement in Game Design
- Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction
- Overall Game of the Year
Looking at the full list, those are nominations in pretty much every category in which Uncharted 2 is eligible.
