Modern Warfare 2 Patch Coming To 360 Soon

Robert Bowling has revealed that the latest Modern Warfare 2 PC patch will also be coming to 360 and PS3.

The patch contains a number of small tweaks and fixes, as well as "Fix to prevent various XP hacks, including the prevention of obtaining negative XP," and will be coming to consoles soon according to Bowling's fourzerotwo blog.

Check the PC patch notes we put up yesterday for more details. The only changes to the forthcoming console patches are that they lack the fixes to mouse latency and texture hacks - but they have that all-important XP hack fix which should cheer up people like this poor individual, who ended a round with -899999453 XP.

We've contacted Activision and Infinity Ward to find out whether or not players will be reimbursed for any XP loss or have their levels restored, and we'll let you know when we find out more.
