Nintendo has revealed that Metroid Prime: Trilogy is "no longer being shipped."
The news comes from Coffee with Games (via Kotaku), with the blogger having asked Nintendo why Metroid Prime: Trilogy had been out of stock on Amazon.
The response from Nintendo was that "Metroid Prime Trilogy is no longer being shipped," with the logic behind it apparently being that "When first introduced, it was announced that there would be limited availability. However, a reason for this was not announced."
Nintendo also affirmed that this is the first game with New Play Control! to be discontinued, with other titles under that label including Pikmin, Mario Power Tennis, and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
If you want the game, Nintendo reckons "you may still be able to locate a copy via stores the specialize in previously played or used titles."
Is this the first time a publisher has recommended you buy its games second-hand, readers? Either way, if you don't have it, you might want to snap up a copy if you see one - it's pretty special.
