A recent job ad suggests Bungie may be recruiting for an MMO project.
The Halo publisher is advertising for two positions, a Gameplay Design Lead and a Player Investment Design Lead, and it’s the latter which may hold some clues as to what the project might be.
The ad states the candidate “directs a group of designers responsible for founding a robust and rewarding investment path, supported by consistent, rich and secure incentives that drives player behavior toward having fun and investing in their characters, and then validates those systems through intense simulation, testing and iteration.”
Responsibilities include making sure the player feels “invested in the world and their character” and that they have “long-term goals” and “can't grief or exploit them.”
Required qualifications are “Experience with many modes of online play” and “Experience with online incentives (achievements, rewards, economic, etc) and a passion for understanding what drives player behavior within them.”
Could this be the MMOFPS that Bungie has been rumoured to be developing? Could it be *whispers* a Halo MMO? Let us know what you think in the comments section?

I like the idea of a Halo MMO, the games have been decent so far, it's just the FPS part I never really liked.
