EA Sports To Launch New Peripherals For All Platforms

EA Sports has announced a deal with three companies to launch a new range of peripherals.

The publisher has joined forces with consumer electronic accessory manufacturers Sakar International Inc., Sunflex Europe and ACCESSORIES 4 TECHNOLOGY Ltd to bring new peripherals to its EA Sports catalogue, including the EA Sports Active fitness range.

Sakar International will create accessories for the Wii and DS, including “new gaming controls”, due for release in spring 2010 while Sunflex Europe will bring over 20 EA Sports-branded peripherals to Europe this year. A4T will also launch a range of accessories across all platforms and have exclusive distribution rights in the UK and Ireland.

We expected more Wii peripherals for EA Sports Active, but the news that accessories will be coming to all platforms is intriguing. Any ideas what we can expect? Let us know in the comments section below.
