January's Guitar Hero DLC Lineup Revealed

Activision has revealed the list of DLC coming to Guitar Hero and Band Hero this month.

Players can expect some tracks from Vampire Weekend's new album, some Creedence Clearwater Revival songs, and a host of blues and metal.

Guitar Hero 5Individual tracks will cost 160 Microsoft Points/$1.99 USD/200 Wii Points each, while each track pack will cost 440 Microsoft Points/$5.49 USD/550 Wii Points.

We rather liked Guitar Hero 5, feeling that it added enough to make it a worthwhile competitor in the increasingly crowded rhythm-action market. Check out the list of DLC, compatible with both Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero, below.

7 January - New Blues Masters Track Pack

  • Tyler Bryant - Who I Am
  • Joe Bonemassa - Lonesome Road Blues
  • Scott McKeon - Broken Man

14 January - Vampire Weekend Track Pack

  • Vampire Weekend - Holiday
  • Vampire Weekend - Cousins
  • Vampire Weekend - The Kids Don't Stand a Chance

21 January - Metal Track Pack

  • Shadows Fall - Still I Rise
  • Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God
  • Dethklok - Laser Cannon Deth Sentence

28 January - Creedence Clearwater Revival Track Pack

  • Creedence Clearwater Revival - Proud Mary
