Heavy Rain Dated For US [UPDATE]

Sony has revealed that Heavy Rain will launch in the US on 16 February.

The news that Americans will soon be playing the deep, dark adventure comes from the most recent issue of Sony's online magazine Qore (thanks, Examiner).

No word on a European date, but we hope it won't be too much later as we're really, really excited. Check out what we said about Heavy Rain in our Most Anticipated Games of 2010 feature, and have a look at our hands-on preview with the game for more.

16 February, Americans. Mark your calendars.

UPDATE: And then unmark them, because the US PlayStation Blog has word that it's a week later than apparently reported in Qore, with the US release of Heavy Rain actually coming on 23 February.
