Modern Warfare Xbox DLC Still Set For Spring

It's no news the Modern Warfare DLC will be coming to the 360 first, but Microsoft's Robbie Bach has confirmed it's still on track.

The announcement was made at E3 last year when Microsoft said the map packs would be coming to their platform first.

Although Infinity Ward have been working on the DLC since November, there's no news on what the content will be.

The DLC will also draw in a huge amount of cash when released.  According to industry analyst Ben Schachter, Activision is estimated to generate "at least $100mil-$140mil in gross revenue from Call of Duty DLC in 2010.'

"2010 is also set to be a strong year, according to Microsoft's director of marketing, Craig Beilinson.

"2010 will be the biggest year in Xbox's history," he said, citing other anticipated exclusives such as Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo: Reach and Fable 3. We could go on, but we think you get the picture.

This comes after earlier news of the Game Room and Natal information revealed in an interview with Robbie Bach before the CES conference.

Strong year for Microsoft? Looks like it could be.
