New Wii Zelda Out By End Of 2010?

The upcoming Wii Zelda sequel may be out by the end of the year.

A footnote at the bottom of an Asahi Shimbun interview with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata (via Kotaku) mentions that Nintendo is aiming to get the new Zelda game out by the end of 2010.

Sadly, there's no information on whether that's just Japan or worldwide, but considering Reggie Fils-Aime's comment a few months back that Nintendo "[hasn't] committed to Zelda for 2010... so we'll see how that continues to develop," it's interesting nonetheless.

Not much is known about the new Zelda title, currently known as "The Legend of Zelda." Series producer Eiji Aonuma has teased that we might see flight, that the game will heavily use the Wii MotionPlus, and that the team is looking to break up the "traditional flow" of the Zelda games, but that's about it.
