Hollywood Interest in Darksiders

Vigil’s creative director Joe Madureira has revealed Hollywood has expressed interest in the Darksiders IP.

Speaking to VG247, Madureira confirmed that the story of a premature apocalypse starring War, one of fabled Four Horsemen, may become a film and/or a comic series.

“We’ve gotten some interest from Hollywood, we’ve talked about doing a comic series,” he said.

“At least a couple of those things have to happen, I’m sure.”

 Madureira also stressed that it is publisher THQ that is pursuing the options rather than the developer.

“It’s really a THQ thing, but I know they are definitely talking to people and I would be surprised if some of that stuff didn’t happen,” he said.
