Capcom has pushed back the release dates of its games that were due to be released in the last fiscal quarter of this year.
The decision has been made to avoid competition with the host of other titles that are being released during that period.
“Capcom believes that delaying the launches of its own titles will avoid competing with these new games, maximize the sales volume of the new Capcom games, and preserve the value of the brands associated with these games.” said the company's latest financial report.
Games that were thought to be slated for release during early 2010 were Super Street Fighter 2, Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2, although none of these were ever given a firm date.
