Zipper Interactive has announced that its upcoming 256-player FPS, MAG, has gone gold in North America, Japan, Korea and the rest of Asia.
The disc is being made as we speak, and distributors are preparing to deliver the copies, ready for the sale date of 26 January in NA, according to the announcement. European discs are expected to go gold sometime in the next few weeks, ready for the sale date of 29 January. 
In addition to this news, Zipper also announced that the open beta for MAG is now available to NA players. PS3 owners in Asia can download the game from Christmas day, and European players can get in on the action from 4 January.
