Codemasters has announced the second downloadable content pack for Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is now available to download from Xbox LIVE.
The Overwatch DLC pack adds two new mutliplayer modes and two new Fireteam Engagements.
Blindside is an objective-based mode which sees a team of attackers attempting to complete three tasks while the defenders go all-out to stop them. Attackers can complete the first two objectives in any order, before unlocking the third. There will also be a time limit in place and Blindside can be played on St Sergius' Shadow and Road to Taranay.
Supremacy is a territory-based mode, with teams tasked with capturing and holding five control points. The twist is that if you hold a point for long enough, an asset such as off-board fire support will become available. Supremacy can be played on the maps Salt Flats and Island Control.
Friendly Skies is a new Fireteam Engagement mission which sees players attempting to take out PLA anti-air defences before defending a counter-attack.
Hostile Takeover involves taking and holding a small village with the aim of using it as a launchpad for an attack.
The DLC will set you back 400 MS Points on Xbox LIVE. The PS3 version is expected in the new year and will cost £3.19 GBP on PSN, while the PC version is due to follow soon after. Check out the new screens below. You can also watch the trailer too...
Operation Flashpoint was one of our favourite games this year, we had a lot of fun with it. You can read our war diaries here, our review here and our video bits and pieces can be watched here (look out for the IGTV prefix for our own productions).
