Take-Two's latest financials have given a rough hint at a release date window for Mafia 2.
The latest revelation to come from an investors call is that Mafia 2 looks like it will make release some time around the July/August period. Take 2's CEO Strauss Zelnick commented that the game is "scheduled to fall in our third quarter." Keeping in mind there could be delays and the fact that the summer period is not the usual time of the year big titles get released, it's not surprising there's no commitment to a final date as yet.
During the call Take-Two also released their financials and net revenue was down for fiscal 2009 from $1.5 billion last year to 968.5 million. Luckily it was not all bad news for Take-Two, Q4 net revenue was up from $323.4 million to $343.4 million compared to last year thanks to the success of Borderlands and GTA IV.
