Dragon's Lair Dated For DSiWare

Digital Leisure has announced that Dragon's Lair will be hitting DSiWare over the next few weeks.

The old-school laserdisc adventure that's basically responsible for creating the first quick-time events has been rumoured for a release on DS, both cartridge and DSiWare, for some time.

Now, license holder Digital Leisure has announced that Dragon's Lair will be going up on DSiWare on 21 December in North America, and 1 January in Europe.

Is this reason to rejoice? Possibly, if you grew up pumping quarters into arcade machines. Did we mention that this was back before quick-time events told you what button to push, and that this was a game based entirely around them? Yeah.

Looks nice though, and it could well push all the right nostalgia buttons. Check out a screen of the DS version to the right.
