Darksiders Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed

THQ has revealed the UK pre-order bonuses for Darksiders.

You'll get different bits and pieces depending on where you decide to get the Zelda-esque action game from, ranging from avatar costumes to in-game weapons.

Those pre-ordering from Play will get their hands on a War costume for either their Xbox LIVE avatar or PlayStation Home, while Amazon pre-orderers will get a Ruin mask.

Pre-order copies of Darksiders coming from Game, on the other hand, will get a weapon called the Harvester, which is apparently a scythe from Death's arsenal that lets protagonist War "smite his foes from a distance with ease."

In terms of actual physical items, Gamestation copies come with a Darksiders comic book drawn by Joe Maduerira which will apparently expand on the games backstory, while those pre-ordering from HMV will be getting their hands on a calendar entitled "Your Last Centrefold."

We're looking forward to Darksiders, which gives players control of War, one of the horsemen of the apocalypse, shortly after the apocalypse has happened. An intriguing premise, we think you'll agree, and one we'll be exploring more over the next few weeks as the game is due out in January.
