Major "Larry Hryb" Nelson has announced an update for Twitter, Facebook, and Last.FM, allowing those under 18 to use them - with parental permission.
Gamers with child accounts on Xbox LIVE will now be able to access the applications that hit the 360 Dashboard a few weeks ago, assuming that their parents first grant approval, according to Major Nelson's post.
Nelson does note that "Automatically log in" or "Remember me" should be checked when signing in for the first time, though, or the parental permission prompt will come up again every single time the user tries to log in.
For the time being, this is only for countries outside of the US. US countries will get this update - and, indeed, these applications - on 15 December.
