All Aspect Warfare DLC Announced

3000AD has announced the first downloadable content pack for All Aspect Warfare.

Titled "Escape From LV-115," the free DLC picks up the plot as our heroes attempt to escape the planet they were stranded on in the initial release. This may prove to be a bit tricky, however, as there just so happens to be a Gammulan station above the planet.

Players will be expected to fight through the enemy, locate the crashed GCV-Excalibur, and somehow get off the planet and back to friendly forces. Expect "multiplayer deathmatch space and planetary combat which takes place in the LV-115 region."

At this stage, the DLC is almost done and is scheduled for a release in the first quarter of 2010. And, again, it's going to be completely free.

We were rather taken with All Aspect Warfare, noting that it did what it set out to do almost perfectly, but that it's not likely to have much mass appeal. Check out our review to see if it's up your alley, and have a look at a smattering of screenshots of Escape From LV-115 below.
