Modern Warfare 2 Retains Top Spot In UK Chart

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has held on to the top spot in the UK all format chart for the fourth week running.

Activision’s excellent FPS sequel held off competition from EA’s FIFA 10, which jumped two places to number two, and Assassin’s Creed II, which dropped one place to number three. This time last year, Call of Duty: World at War spent five weeks at number one before losing the coveted Christmas top spot to FIFA ’09.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2 was the week’s highest climber, rising four places to re-enter the top ten at number eight.
