Tim Schafer has revealed that he wants to do more DLC for Brutal Legend.
GamePro asked Schafer whether there was any single-player downloadable content in the works for the rather good Brutal Legend, and he answered that the team "want to do more."
"We definitely want to do more DLC for both single-player and multiplayer," said Schafer, "as well as some tuning patches."
"Watching people play Brutal Legend makes it seem that certain units might be overpowered, like some players will just spam Fire Barons," elaborated Double Fine's head honcho. "It's an interesting issue because you can counter that strategy by using Skull Rakers or double-teaming with a Razor Girl or Bride, so we're testing to see if people are learning to use those counters and once we find the exact tuning tweak to make it perfect we'll implement it in a patch."
"It's tough to avoid the pendulum effect where you go back and forth, so we try to focus on one fix that will make the game more fun," Schafer finished.
If you haven't picked up Brutal Legend yet, it's definitely worth a look, as despite some flaws it's one of the more entertaining gaming experiences we've had recently. So far, we've seen one DLC pack - Tears of the Hextadon - which added in a new axe and some new multiplayer maps. Here's hoping for more soon, particularly this hinted single-player content.
