Rock Band Music Store Playing Sound Of Silence

Harmonix and MTV Games have revealed that more Simon & Garfunkel, Slipknot, and Green Day are coming to the Rock Band Music Store.

This week, we'll see the release of three Slipknot tracks and two Simon & Garfunkel tracks onto the Music Store, in addition to one completely free track by "alternative rockers" Lights Resolve, apparently voted Breakout Band 2009 by Rolling Stone.

The tracklisting follows:

• Slipknot - Duality
• Slipknot - Psychosocial
• Slipknot - Sulfur
• Simon & Garfunkel - I Am a Rock
• Simon & Garfunkel - The Sounds of Silence
  
• Lights Resolve - Dreaming of Love (Xbox 360/PS3 only - free track)

The tracks will hit Wii and 360 tomorrow, on 8 December, with the PlayStation release to follow on 10 December. Individually, the tracks will cost £0.99 GBP/160 Microsoft Points/200 Wii Points, while "Slipknot Pack 01" - containing all three Slipknot songs and only available on 360 and PS3 - will cost £2.49 GBP/440 Microsoft Points.

We've also been told that Green Day is making a return to Rock Band, with three more tracks from the band coming next week on 15 December and 17 December. They'll be available individually or as Green Day Pack 02 for the same prices listed above, and the tracks, all taken from 21st Century Breakdown, are:

• Green Day - Christian Inferno
• Green Day - Last of the American Girls
• Green Day - ¡Viva La Gloria!

Hopefully, there'll be more than three tracks released next week, but we'll have to wait and see.
