Assassin's Creed 2 DLC Announced

Ubisoft has announced two sets of Assassin's Creed 2 DLC.

The first pack, titled Battle of Forli, is due in January 2010. The second, Bonfire of the Vanities, is set to follow in February 2010.

Details are scarce on what we should actually expect, but considering the events of the game (and the places the DLC will likely appear, which should be fairly easy to work out if you've played the game) we'd wager that the Battle of Forli will either involve the assassination of Pino III Ordelaffi or will have something to do with Caterina Sforza's involvement in what happened there.

Less of a clue about Bonfire of the Vanities, but that's ripe with possibility all by itself.

The only other thing we really know is that each pack will require a minimum of 1GB of free space on your 360 or PS3, which could well mean expanded locations and plenty of new dialogue. Exciting stuff.
