Bungie is advertising for a writer to “help define” the developer’s “next game universe.”
In an ad on the Bungie site, the Halo developer states it is looking for a “kick-ass writer” with five years experience in the industry or two AAA games under their belt.
Intriguingly, the ad also states that experience of writing “branching or non-linear narrative” is an advantage.
Over-ambitious auteurs can look elsewhere, however, as Bungie is looking for a candidate with “Zero desire to parlay your game writing experience into a film, TV show, novel &c.”
Last year the developer revealed its next non-Halo title will not necessarily be an Xbox 360 exclusive, following its split from parent company Microsoft in 2007.
