Spotify Denies Console Rumours

Spotify has told IncGamers that there is “no truth” to the rumours that the service is coming to consoles soon.

Following reports from anonymous sources, we contacted Spotify to find out if we can expect the successful music streaming service in the near future.

“We've always said that we want to be on as many devices as possible so that we can bring music to where ever [sic]our users are,” said a spokesperson, “but there's no truth to these 'anonymous' rumours about Spotify coming to game consoles any time soon”

As mentioned earlier, Microsoft is reportedly working on a rival streaming service to Spotify which was set for release in July this year but was subsequently delayed.
