Nirvana Coming As They Were To Rock Band

Next week's Rock Band DLC comprises three tracks by Nirvana and three tracks by Night Ranger.

Xbox 360 and Wii users will get the six tracks on 1 December, while PlayStation 3 gamers will, as usual, have to wait two days and will instead be receiving them on 3 December.

The tracks are as follows:

• Nirvana - Come As You Are (Live from MTV Unplugged) *
  
• Nirvana - Lithium (Live at Reading)
• Nirvana - Smells Like Team Spirit
• Night Ranger - (You Can Still) Rock in America *
  
• Night Ranger - Don't Tell Me You Love Me *
  
• Night Ranger - You're Gonna Hear It From Me *

Songs followed by asterisks will also be appearing on the family-friendly Lego Rock Band Music Store.

You'll be able to purchase the tracks singly on all systems and in the packs "Nirvana Pack 02" and "Night Ranger Pack 01" on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Individually, the tracks will cost £0.99 GBP/€1.49 EUR/$1.99 USD/160 Microsoft Points/200 Wii Points, while the track packs will cost £3.99 GBP/€2.49 EUR/$5.49 USD/440 Microsoft Points each.

Including all of the DLC and on-disc tracks, Rock Band now boasts a music library of over 1000 songs, which will grow even faster when Rock Band Network - which will allow bands to add their own songs to the Music Store - launches next year.
